Colours at St Paul's Pre-school.

Colours is a small, independent setting situated in the heart of East Boldre, nestled between Beaulieu and Lymington. Located right next to St Paul’s Church, our pre-school enjoys a beautiful rural location where cows, horses and donkeys are regular visitors.

We are an art-oriented setting that follows the Montessori approach, catering to children aged two to five years. Our facility features a bright, welcoming room and a garden where learning flows naturally. We take pride in creating bespoke activities tailored to each child’s unique stage of development and individual needs.

Building strong relationships with our families is at the heart of what we do. To ensure you stay connected to your child's journey, we provide;

• Daily Verbal Updates: A personal check-in with parents at the end of every session.
  
• Online Learning Journals: We use Tapestry to document your child’s development through detailed observations and snapshots of their day.
  

​  We follow Hampshire County school term times and maintain a flexible approach, offering flexible start/finish times as well as the ability to accommodate changes in attendance.

We welcome both funded (EYE) and non-funded children, we don't charge registration fees, or insist on deposits, but do offer discounts for prompt and early payments.

 For over a decade we have been traiding consistently and we have seen over 80 children confident and well-prepared for their big next step. 

​As a small setting we are proud that we have been able to keep the same core staff since 2015.

This is especially important in providing children and families with consistency, as many children join us at 2 years of age and stay with us until primary school; many parents comment on how important this is to them and what a happy team we are.

We have built a trusted reputation and a clear ethos within the local area. We are proud of our strong, long-standing relationships with local schools, ensuring that when the time eventually comes to move on, our children are confident and well-prepared.
